Safety was not reported in the material analysed. Check the source before drawing any conclusion about harm.
The source did not state who this applies to in practice.
Graded across the dimensions that decide whether you should act, each from what the source actually supports. There is no single score, and where a dimension was not assessed it says so.
This record has not been graded across any dimension yet. Treat the label above as provisional and read the source.
What is missing. This record has no bottom line, key findings, reported figures, evidence dimensions. That is a gap in the analysis, not a judgement about the study.
The number of studies on nanoformulated tocotrienols is increasing and have been extensively researched for clinical applications. However, no comprehensive bibliometric analysis has been conducted in this field. Hence, this study aims to evaluate the bibliometric landscape of nanotocotrienol studies over the past 10 years. Web of Science and Scopus databases were utilised for the search from 1999 to February 2025. Research tools used in the analysis include ScientoPy for trend analysis, VOSviewer for visualizing research networks and Biblioshiny for mapping thematic evolution. The analysis focused on key bibliometric indicators of publication output, citation impact, and keyword co-occurrence patterns. Findings revealed a consistent upward trend in publications with major contributions from China (72), the United States (60), and India (37). The predominant journals were International Journal of Pharmaceutics (18) and Biomaterials (12). Citation analysis identified influential studies on bioavailability, drug delivery and cancer therapy. Keyword analysis categorised five major thematic clusters, including nanomedicine, cancer therapy, antioxidant systems and lipid-based drug delivery. Overall, the findings highlight the interdisciplinary growth of research on nanoformulated tocotrienols and emphasize the need for stronger collaboration and continued advancement in formulation strategies.
