Graded across the dimensions that decide whether you should act, each from what the source actually supports. There is no single score, and where a dimension was not assessed it says so.
This record has not been graded across any dimension yet. Treat the label above as provisional and read the source.
What is missing. This record has no bottom line, key findings, reported figures, evidence dimensions. That is a gap in the analysis, not a judgement about the study.
Registry record from ClinicalTrials.gov (NCT07895576). This is a study registration, not published results. Lead sponsor: Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. Recruitment status: NOT_YET_RECRUITING. Phase: NA. Study type: INTERVENTIONAL. Enrollment: 60 participants (ESTIMATED). Conditions: Asthma, Depression. Interventions: BEHAVIORAL: SAMBA; BEHAVIORAL: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy-Asthma Depression (CBT-AD); BEHAVIORAL: Original SAMBA. Primary outcome measures: Asthma Control Questionnaire (ACQ) , Baseline and 3-months post-intervention; Geriatric Depression Scale (GDS) , Baseline and 3-months post-intervention. Brief summary: Depressive disorders are highly prevalent among older adults with asthma and are associated with poor asthma outcomes. The overall objective of this study is to integrate an asthma self-management support program that the research team previously developed with cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) for adherence and depression for older adults with uncontrolled asthma and a comorbid depressive disorder. The research team will conduct a pilot randomized controlled trial to assess the feasibility and preliminary impact of the intervention on asthma and depression outcomes.
