Interventional Study.
No findings were extractable from the material analysed.
Safety was not reported in the material analysed. Check the source before drawing any conclusion about harm.
The source did not state who this applies to in practice.
Graded across the dimensions that decide whether you should act, each from what the source actually supports. There is no single score, and where a dimension was not assessed it says so.
This record has not been graded across any dimension yet. Treat the label above as provisional and read the source.
What is missing. This record has no bottom line, key findings, reported figures, evidence dimensions. That is a gap in the analysis, not a judgement about the study.
Registry record from ClinicalTrials.gov (NCT07862205). This is a study registration, not published results. Lead sponsor: Mayo Clinic. Recruitment status: NOT_YET_RECRUITING. Phase: NA. Study type: INTERVENTIONAL. Enrollment: 60 participants (ESTIMATED). Conditions: Major Depressive Disorder (MDD), Treatment Resistant Depression, Major Depression. Interventions: DEVICE: MagVenture TMS Therapy System with Localite Navigation System and actiCHamp EEG. Primary outcome measures: Feasibility of closed-loop EEG guided iTBS in adult participants with MDD. , 6 weeks and 12 weeks post-treatment. Brief summary: The purpose of this research is to see if an experimental treatment for depression called intermittent theta burst stimulation (iTBS), a form of transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) can be improved for better results using electroencephalography (EEG) recordings (brain waves) for individuals with Major Depressive Disorder (MDD). This is a feasibility study to test a "closed-loop" procedure which guides the timing of this FDA-cleared form of TMS. Each participant will receive an active experimental treatment, and the timing of the TMS pulses will be at one of three phases in the brain wave of interest.
