The source did not state who this applies to in practice.
Graded across the dimensions that decide whether you should act, each from what the source actually supports. There is no single score, and where a dimension was not assessed it says so.
This record has not been graded across any dimension yet. Treat the label above as provisional and read the source.
What is missing. This record has no bottom line, key findings, reported figures, evidence dimensions. That is a gap in the analysis, not a judgement about the study.
The high mortality rate due to breast cancer in women globally, including in Indonesia, has triggered the urgency of finding alternative therapies that are more affordable and have minimal side effects. This study aims to evaluate the cytotoxic effects of ethanolic leaf extract of nutmeg (Myristica fragrans Houtt) on the MCF-7 breast cancer cell line. The extraction process was carried out by maceration with 70% ethanol solvent, followed by cell viability testing using the PrestoBlue assay at various concentrations from 7.81 to 1000 µg/mL. In this experiment, cisplatin was applied as a positive control, while DMSO along with culture media acted as negative controls and untreated MCF-7 Cells. The test results showed that increasing the extract concentration caused a gradual decrease in MCF-7 cell viability, with the most obvious inhibitory effect seen in the morphology of cells exposed to concentrations of 250, 500 and 1000 µg/mL. The IC50 value obtained was 415.80 µg/mL, so its cytotoxic activity was categorized as moderate cytotoxic.
