Phase 2/3 Trial.
No findings were extractable from the material analysed.
Safety was not reported in the material analysed. Check the source before drawing any conclusion about harm.
The source did not state who this applies to in practice.
Graded across the dimensions that decide whether you should act, each from what the source actually supports. There is no single score, and where a dimension was not assessed it says so.
This record has not been graded across any dimension yet. Treat the label above as provisional and read the source.
What is missing. This record has no bottom line, key findings, reported figures, evidence dimensions. That is a gap in the analysis, not a judgement about the study.
Registry record from ClinicalTrials.gov (NCT05613218). This is a study registration, not published results. Lead sponsor: Copenhagen University Hospital, Hvidovre. Recruitment status: COMPLETED. Phase: PHASE2, PHASE3. Study type: INTERVENTIONAL. Enrollment: 135 participants (ACTUAL). Conditions: Acute Heart Failure, Pulmonary Congestion, Hypoxemia. Interventions: DRUG: Oxygen. Primary outcome measures: Change in pulmonary parenchymal fluid content from baseline to 24 hours , Baseline to 24 hours. Brief summary: REDOX-AHF compared two oxygen saturation targets in adults admitted with acute heart failure and clinical or radiological signs of congestion. Participants were randomly assigned to a restrictive target of 89-91% or a liberal target of 95-97% for 24 hours. An automated oxygen delivery device adjusted oxygen flow while concealing the assigned target from participants and study staff. The main assessment was lung fluid content after 24 hours, measured noninvasively by remote dielectric sensing (ReDS). The trial was conducted at two Danish hospitals. A total of 135 participants were randomized; 134 remained in the modified intention-to-treat population after one participant withdrew consent. The target of 122 participants with complete primary-outcome measurements was reached. Follow-up continued to day 30.
