Observational Study.
No findings were extractable from the material analysed.
Safety was not reported in the material analysed. Check the source before drawing any conclusion about harm.
The source did not state who this applies to in practice.
Graded across the dimensions that decide whether you should act, each from what the source actually supports. There is no single score, and where a dimension was not assessed it says so.
This record has not been graded across any dimension yet. Treat the label above as provisional and read the source.
What is missing. This record has no bottom line, key findings, reported figures, evidence dimensions. That is a gap in the analysis, not a judgement about the study.
Registry record from ClinicalTrials.gov (NCT07920237). This is a study registration, not published results. Lead sponsor: Union Hospital, Tongji Medical College, Huazhong University of Science and Technology. Recruitment status: NOT_YET_RECRUITING. Study type: OBSERVATIONAL. Enrollment: 30 participants (ESTIMATED). Conditions: Sepsis, Circulatory Instability, Hemodynamic Monitoring. Primary outcome measures: Agreement in fluid resuscitation decision-making between PiCCO and APCO , Baseline (enrollment); dynamic monitoring (fluid responsiveness assessment); fluid resuscitation phase (end of early resuscitation); and ≥3 times daily in follow-up until PiCCO catheter removal (expected average 7 days), whichever come first.. Brief summary: This is a single-center prospective clinical study in the intensive care unit (ICU). Thirty adult patients with sepsis requiring hemodynamic monitoring and fluid resuscitation will be enrolled. All participants will undergo two hemodynamic monitoring modalities simultaneously: pulse indicator continuous cardiac output (PiCCO) (reference standard) and arterial pulse contour cardiac output (APCO, ultrasound-calibrated pulse-contour cardiac output). The study aims to evaluate the consistency of clinical decision-making for fluid resuscitation guided by APCO compared with PiCCO, and to verify the accuracy of cardiac output (CO) measured by APCO. No investigational drugs will be administered. A standardized fluid challenge will be performed based on clinical indications. Hemodynamic parameters, laboratory results, and adverse events will be collected throughout the ICU stay.
