Abstract In view of prolonged airway inflammation, excessive mucus production, recurring infectious exacerbations, and increasing degradation of pulmonary function, recurrent chronic bronchitis continues to be a serious therapeutic problem. Antibiotics are still essential for treating acute bacterial exacerbations, but extended and repeated exposure to antibiotics has led to an increasing global antimicrobial resistance epidemic. The rise of resistant respiratory bacteria has raised healthcare expenditures, complicated disease management, and revealed significant flaws in traditional treatment methods. Many patients still suffer from repeated respiratory infections and deteriorating quality of life despite advancements in bronchodilator therapy, immunization, pulmonary rehabilitation, and antibiotic stewardship. This situation has sparked interest in complementary treatment strategies that address both host susceptibility and infections. A unique approach to treating recurrent susceptibility and boosting patient resilience is provided by individualized homoeopathy, which is based on the ideas of individualization, constitutional prescribing, and miasmatic understanding of chronic disease. The pathophysiological causes of recurrent chronic bronchitis, the problem of antibiotic resistance, existing treatment gaps, and the possible use of customized homoeopathy within an integrative paradigm of respiratory care are all examined in this paper.
