Observational Study.
No findings were extractable from the material analysed.
Safety was not reported in the material analysed. Check the source before drawing any conclusion about harm.
The source did not state who this applies to in practice.
Graded across the dimensions that decide whether you should act, each from what the source actually supports. There is no single score, and where a dimension was not assessed it says so.
This record has not been graded across any dimension yet. Treat the label above as provisional and read the source.
What is missing. This record has no bottom line, key findings, reported figures, evidence dimensions. That is a gap in the analysis, not a judgement about the study.
Registry record from ClinicalTrials.gov (NCT07915869). This is a study registration, not published results. Lead sponsor: Shanghai Zhongshan Hospital. Recruitment status: NOT_YET_RECRUITING. Study type: OBSERVATIONAL. Enrollment: 215 participants (ESTIMATED). Conditions: Sepsis, Septic Shock Hyperdynamic. Primary outcome measures: Organ Support-Free Days Through Day 28 , From ICU admission through day 28. Brief summary: This prospective, single-center observational cohort study aims to investigate the feasibility, reproducibility, and longitudinal trajectory patterns of left ventricular myocardial work in adult patients with sepsis during the early phase of intensive care unit (ICU) treatment. A total of 215 patients will be enrolled. Myocardial work indices, including global work efficiency (GWE), global work index (GWI), global constructive work (GCW), and global wasted work (GWW), will be assessed at approximately 12, 24, and 72 hours after ICU admission. Latent trajectory classes of GWE will be explored, and their internal stability will be evaluated. The association between GWE trajectory classes and organ support-free days through day 28 will be assessed in a prespecified 84-hour landmark population. All treatment decisions will be made independently by the clinical team, and study-derived myocardial work measurements will not guide clinical management.
