The source did not state who this applies to in practice.
Graded across the dimensions that decide whether you should act, each from what the source actually supports. There is no single score, and where a dimension was not assessed it says so.
This record has not been graded across any dimension yet. Treat the label above as provisional and read the source.
What is missing. This record has no bottom line, key findings, reported figures, evidence dimensions. That is a gap in the analysis, not a judgement about the study.
BACKGROUND: Algorithm to the treating physicians will improve both the clinical management and outcome of the individual patient. OBJECTIVE: The objectives of the PM Heart trial include clinical and technical aspects. First, the primary aim is to investigate if the clinical use of the prognosis calculated by the algorithm improves patient prognosis and minimizes the risk of re-hospitalization, compared to standard of care. A secondary objective is to generate knowledge on how decision support tools in cardiology may be implemented, received, and used directly in clinical practice. METHODS: -prognosis or not in the electronic health record. RESULTS: The primary outcome is a composite outcome consisting of re-admissions within 30 days and one-year survival rates after randomization. Inclusion began September 2023, and follow-up is expected to finish in 2026. CONCLUSIONS: We present the design of and rationale for the PM Heart trial. Our aim is to assess the clinical value of implementing an artificial intelligence-based decision support tool in clinical practice.
