Interventional Study.
No findings were extractable from the material analysed.
Safety was not reported in the material analysed. Check the source before drawing any conclusion about harm.
The source did not state who this applies to in practice.
Graded across the dimensions that decide whether you should act, each from what the source actually supports. There is no single score, and where a dimension was not assessed it says so.
This record has not been graded across any dimension yet. Treat the label above as provisional and read the source.
What is missing. This record has no bottom line, key findings, reported figures, evidence dimensions. That is a gap in the analysis, not a judgement about the study.
Registry record from ClinicalTrials.gov (NCT06234930). This is a study registration, not published results. Lead sponsor: Clarity Health Technologies, Inc. Recruitment status: COMPLETED. Phase: NA. Study type: INTERVENTIONAL. Enrollment: 27 participants (ACTUAL). Conditions: Healthy Aging, Alzheimer's Disease, Mild Cognitive Impairment. Interventions: DEVICE: Audiovisual stimulation VR system. Primary outcome measures: Changes in brain activity associated with exposure to VR-based audiovisual stimulation , Immediately after the intervention; Level of tolerance to VR-based sensory stimulation exposure , Immediately after the intervention; Incidence of Stimulation-Emergent Adverse Events , Immediately after the intervention. Brief summary: This single-session, within-subject, sham-controlled early feasibility study evaluated the safety, tolerability, and feasibility of delivering 40 Hz audiovisual (gamma sensory) stimulation through a virtual reality (VR) headset in cognitively unimpaired older adults and in people with mild cognitive impairment (MCI) due to Alzheimer's disease or mild Alzheimer's disease.
