Graded across the dimensions that decide whether you should act, each from what the source actually supports. There is no single score, and where a dimension was not assessed it says so.
This record has not been graded across any dimension yet. Treat the label above as provisional and read the source.
What is missing. This record has no bottom line, key findings, reported figures, evidence dimensions. That is a gap in the analysis, not a judgement about the study.
Registry record from ClinicalTrials.gov (NCT07733141). This is a study registration, not published results. Lead sponsor: City of Hope Medical Center. Recruitment status: RECRUITING. Phase: NA. Study type: INTERVENTIONAL. Enrollment: 17 participants (ESTIMATED). Conditions: Chronic Graft Versus Host Disease, Hematopoietic and Lymphatic System Neoplasm, Malignant Solid Neoplasm. Interventions: PROCEDURE: Biospecimen Collection; BEHAVIORAL: Mindfulness Relaxation; BEHAVIORAL: Mindfulness Relaxation; BEHAVIORAL: Mindfulness Relaxation; OTHER: Survey Administration. Primary outcome measures: Compliance (feasibility) , Up to 8 weeks. Brief summary: This clinical trial tests a mindfulness intervention, consisting of group sessions and an individual session, using mindfulness based stress reduction techniques, to reduce patient reported symptoms for patients with chronic graft versus host disease (cGVHD). In patients undergoing allogeneic stem cell transplant, sometimes the transplanted cells from a donor can attack the body's normal cells (called graft-versus-host disease). In cGVHD patients may encounter stiffness, itching, joint and muscle pain, oral cavity pain, itchy eyes, shortness of breath, depression, anxiety, and poor sleep resulting in a significant impact on patients' quality of life. Mindfulness interventions use meditation practices with elements of psychology to improve emotional regulation, resilience and acceptance based coping. This mindfulness based intervention may reduce patient reported symptoms in patients with cGVHD.
